If you find that Route Browser is requiring you to keep activating or you're having a problem activating the software please try the following:

  1. Uninstall Route Browser
  2. Go to your Windows Control Panel / User Accounts area and click the option for User Account Control. Turn it off by moving the slider to the bottom.
  3. Reboot
  4. Download and install Route Browser again from http://nc-software.com/download
  5. Copy the attached file (rbrowser.exe.manifest) into the Route Browser installation folder which is typically C:\Program Files\Route Browser v2 (on 64 bit Windows it will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Route Browser v2)
  6. Right-click on the Route Browser icon that you use to launch the program and choose Run as Administrator
  7. Reactivate the software with your issued name/unlock code
  8. Reboot then launch Route Browser normally again and see if you are prompted to reactivate.  If so please contact technical support.
