APDL is licensed "per user" by signing in with your NC Software account attached to your APDL purchase.  You can install and use APDL on any device you own and you can even use a coworkers device by signing them out and signing in as you as the data everywhere sync will sync your data in instantly for your use and then you can make your changes, sign out, and the owner can sign back in to their device for continued use.
